  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 2 cups medium pasta shells (uncooked)
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

In a large pot, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in onion and garlic. Cook until softened and fragrant. Add tomato sauce, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Stir well. Add pasta shells directly into the sauce. Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender (10–12 minutes). Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and shredded cheese until melted and smooth. Garnish with parsley or basil. Serve hot with garlic bread or salad.
