Savory Turkey & Cranberry Crescent Ring
- 2 cups cooked turkey (shredded or chopped)
- 1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
- Salt & pepper to taste
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. Stir in the shredded turkey, cranberry sauce, and shredded Swiss cheese until evenly mixed. Unroll both cans of crescent roll dough. On the parchment-lined baking sheet, arrange the triangles in a circle, with the wide ends overlapping at the center and the points facing outward, creating a sunburst shape. Spoon the turkey mixture evenly around the wide center of the crescent dough, leaving a bit of space around the edges. Carefully fold the pointed ends of the dough over the turkey mixture, tucking them under the wide ends in the center. This will create a ring shape, with the filling wrapped inside. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and fully cooked through.
